Washington DC, planned in 1791 as president of Washington architect Charles L'Enfant was commissioned an architect, an engineer and a French-born planner, to design the new capital. Outline plan appeared to make the streets and broad avenues and spaces that are emitted, rectangles, and provide spaces for open spaces and landscapes

He based his design on the charts cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Karlsruhe, Milan, as well as that planned by Thomas Jefferson in 1788 as planning is designed to ensure the garden "big way", located in the National Park
